We were lucky to have warm days during our stay but alas, aircon did not work so had to sleep window open and that means noise and a mosquito! Reception tried to turn a/c on but i dont think it worked - I gather it will be on during summer but not in the winter.
Bed was very comfy though.

Quick efficient check in, lovely room, very pleasing breakfast. Restaurant dinner was good. Waiter somewhat aloof. Staff otherwise excellent. Handy for old town. The present metro works make it less easy to access from Maria Zambrano, and the nearest entrance to Cercanias station at Alameda is at present closed. There are taxis just outside the hotel. Approx €19 to the airport,

We initially had booked a dreadful room which looked onto a walled area where all the fans vented out chip fat etc. It was tiny which was ok with us for 2 nights in central Malaga but the heat was so awful we had no sleep. When we opened the window all we could smell was cooking. I complained and was eventually allocated an upgrade to an internal courtyard room which was brilliant. We didn't have to pay for the upgrade and the staff were very pleasant. My advice would be don't book the cheaper rooms unless you like to lie and cook.

We stayed at the Molina Lario for a week at the end of January into February for a winter break with some good weather, good food and good helping of art and culture thrown in. The location is ideal for enjoying Malaga; easy walking further into the old town with all its bars, cafes, restaurants, galleries, museums and shops. Close - by to the water front and from there to the beaches. Bus stops and taxi ranks are literally across the road. All the staff we talked to were from Malaga itself and were more than happy to give advise on their home city of which they were justifiably proud.
