La région est magnifique et Kilkenny une ville très intéressante qui ne se fait pas en une seule journée, afin de profiter de son histoire et de ses traditions. La randonnée de Brandon Hill Loop est extraordinaire ! ”

“Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might……

“David the host was remarkably accommodating. The facility was incredible considering it has several centuries of history. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the convenieces you could ask for. The property was so quiet, i had to use a white noise machine to break the silence. ”

“What a beautiful place to stay. A quaint little Cottage set away from the hustle and bustle. The Cottage was clean, tidy and well resourced. Our host was amazing, her communication was prompt and helpful, and even though it was Christmas Day, she took a break from her own family to bring some timber for our log fire. “James was the consummate host. While the unit could be called country cottage simple, the welcome was all one might expect in the form of warm Irish hospitality. Situated on the outskirts of Mountshannon, you do need transport, but with car in hand you will be able to visit the highlights of the region. just bare in mind local 'R' roads can be narrow with high hedges, and meeting commercial traffic might test your nerves. However, think cautiously, drive slowly and all will be well. The nearby……
