Creston Valley Motel

"Pleasant stay for me and my two small dogs,"
Peaceful Cedar Forest Guesthouse On Historic Farm
10/10 Excellent
"Great location just outside Creston (few minutes to drive in) as a base for visiting the wineries (managed 3),farmers market, art gallery of local artist, lovely meat and owner at Bindoya on Canyon Street and delicious milk and ice cream at Kootenay Meadows farm. Good foody vibe in the area. And then there’s swimming in the lake/river and following the treks at Tyler&Mia’s place. The latter let us loose on their veg garden - there’s also eggs and blueberries! May have to return to do it justice - we only had 3 nights!"
Kootenay Lake Lodge -Cabin for 2 guests- only two minute walk to the water !

"We had the greatest lit'l holiday here at the red cabin ..perfect for couples .We loved everything about this place ,our lit'l Dachshund Finnegan enjoyed meeting daisy the goat and the chickens ponies and geese, sadly it was very smokey due to forest fires but enjoyed our time regardless. We will definitely be booking again next summer Thanks Claudia and Claus "
Holiday Creek Vacation Rental
10/10 Excellent
"Our family (3 adults, our daughter, and our dog) had an amazing week at this beautiful Kootenay Lake home. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely at ease. The house has so much character with its antique charm, and one of our favourite surprises was the incredible book collection. There were so many interesting books to browse that everyone found something to enjoy. Our daughter absolutely loved the piano and treated us to little concerts throughout the week.We spent countless hours on the two balconies playing cards, Jenga, and board games while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The entire property, inside and out, has such a relaxing atmosphere that it was easy to forget about the hustle and bustle of city life. The quiet country setting was exactly what our family needed.Claudia and Klaus were wonderful hosts—kind, approachable, and genuinely caring. It was clear they take great pride in sharing their home and making sure their guests have a memorable stay. The main beach is just a short walk down the hill, and the views are absolutely breathtaking (especially for us Albertans!). Kootenay Lake is truly a gem. We do recommend bringing water shoes, as the shoreline is rocky. We also discovered a quieter little beach just a minute and a half's drive away, where we spent time admiring and collecting beautiful pebbles in every colour. The floating island was another huge hit with our family and provided hours of fun. Love love love the place! Thank you!"
