“Greatly enjoyed our stay here for a week in February. The house was home base for us as we visited the three nearby National Wildlife Refuges. House was very clean and stocked with all essentials. Clear communications with the host added to the positive experience. Was third winter we have visited Albemarle/Pamlico peninsula to view wildlife. When we return, we will definitely try and book this lodging again.”

“The lock on my door and the top latch were both broke. Room service entered my room multiple times while i was in the shower. There was no do not disturb sign to hang on the outside of the door and I couldn’t just lock it because it was broke. The first time the entered I closed the bathroom door and said I was about to get in the shower. The knocked and entered not even 5 minutes later. I yelled out I was in the shower. It made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe honestly as I was a woman……
