“The small cabin/house is a great spot for relaxing and enjoying the hot tub. Burr Oak Lake beach is a short drive, but not a walk. There is a Lakeview Trail access less than 1/2 mile up the road, and this trail takes you to the lake (approx. 1 mile). Definitely would recommend the place.”

“When we walked in, we had to sweep automatically there was dog bones under the bed… went to put coffee by the coffee machine and there was grease all over the coffee machine had to go out and buy a coffee maker mold in the bathroom. They hide it behind a hamper and when I addressed it, nobody said anything but other than that check-in was awesome and all the hiking was great”

Not only was the original cabin perfect, she called us to see if we wanted to switch to a cabin on less of an incline, for the impending snow storm. “This is our second time staying at Jesse's property. He has made multiple improvements to the home since our first trip. The Wi-Fi has been upgraded and worked wonderfully! Just having access to the hot tub is 100% worth it for us. The kitchen has plenty of cookware, silverware, plates and cups. He has included hand soap and dish soap. The improvement we were most happy about is the walkway that was added from where you park to the porch. We will definitely be booking again!!”

“We stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the Hocking Hills area. There’s so much to do and we were able to all have a great time. The cabin is adorable, quiet and secluded. The a.c. works great. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and around the campfire at night. The clear, open skies allowed for stargazing. Our host Elizabeth was very attentive and communicated everything we needed to know.
