“We absolutely loved this little cabin. It was just what we were looking for, a little hideaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. It was cozy, and had everything we needed. They even allowed us to check in a little earlier when we thought the weather was not going to cooperate with our plans. It was clean, had a huge selection of movies to pick from, CD player for some music, it was just great.”

“We stayed here over Memorial weekend and it was a perfect little cabin for my husband and I. Excellent views and the hot tub was a perfect spot to relax at night. Pretty close to the town of New Lexington if you want to grab a pizza or ice cream. The reviews don’t lie, this is a great little cabin for 2!”

“Stayed for the weekend during Nelsonville Music Festival. Cozy set-up. Fire pit, hot tub, hammock posts all made for a relaxing stay. Just make sure that when you Google or Waze directions, you search for "Hidden Gem Cabins"... If you only enter the address, Google may take you 1/2 mile or so down the road. Property manager helped get us back on track. If you're going to be in and out, I recommend downloading an offline map of the area since service can be spotty (service at the cabin was good).”

“This is our 2nd year visiting Burr Oak. The lake and boat ramp is only 3 minutes away. Andy, the host, is so friendly & lives very close to the rental house. I love it there! Away from the "big" city of Columbus. So much fun to venture out and explore. We will definitely be back in the year 2025!!”

“Very cozy cabin in a quite setting. Neighbors are close to the fire pit, but we never saw them. The fresh eggs were a great touch, and the welcome to the family sign was nice as well. I would stay again.”

“We used this property for my family and my parents to stay for graduation weekend. The property was clean, well decorated and everything we needed. We were 40 minutes to campus 20 minutes to Dutch Creek Winery. It was so much better than a hotel, we had room to visit and enjoy the trails we even had and a small campfire. Thank you for having a place that has exceeded my expectations.”

“A group of six of us came down for the weekend to play board games/card games/grill. The cabin is very new, clean, and has a wonderful open area for living room and kitchen. The back deck and front porch are both large and are perfect for spending time together with friends. The lake nearby has some beautiful walking trails and this is a great cabin.”

“Had an excellent weekend at Bonnie and Gary’s cabin with a large group of friends for New Year’s Eve! We were perfectly content with everything included on the property and could easily see returning in winter again or summer. There is so much to do, and so many details / amenities were taken care of. Plus, the cabin fit many of us, with room to spare. Bonnie was very helpful as a host and had thought ahead of everything too!”
