We may need to rename this “big dog!” With the updated finished basement bunk room, this fits the whole family! First floor master, has handicapped accessible full bathroom. Basement has hang-out space with Foosball, arcade consoles table, digital TV and bean bags. Main floor has lots of seating around the wood-burning fireplace and a 55 inch HD TV. All open to the kitchen and dining. Hot tub sits on the back porch with outdoor dining. INCLUDED All of the Chalets include: a scenic setting; outdoor hot-tub; fireplace and grill; kitchen with cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils and tableware; Satellite TV with DVD player; bed, bath and kitchen linens with bath soap and dish soap; toilet paper; access to the guest pool; central air conditioning and heat. See details for type of grill and fireplace, additional kitchen features, and if there is a fire pit, laundry, private pool, Wi-Fi and other amenities. SITE Dogwood – Hocking Hills is on the edge of woods, behind an open field, neighboring three other Chalets, on Blosser Road, convenient to Route 33 and the city of Logan. The closest state park is Lake Logan, 1.5 miles, a 5-minute drive. Old Man’s Cave is, 10 miles, a 15-minute drive. The Chalets front desk is 7 miles, away. For your convenience, online check-in is available, so you can go directly to Dogwood – Hocking Hills, without stopping at the Chalets’ front desk, first.

Great property!

Enjoyed our stay immensely. Dogwood was clean, well stocked, and well maintained with plenty of room to spread out. The hot tub and community pool were enjoyed. Great place for a stay!

Family Hiking Trip

This house was absolutely the cleanest vacation rental that I have ever stayed in. Great job housekeeping staff! We had plenty of room. We were close to the many beautiful trails at Hocking Hills. I would highly recommend this house.

Game room a game changer

Nice, well organized and comfortable cabin. The two 12 year olds and 11 year old really loved the downstairs room with foosball and table game thing. The hot tub was a hit as well. Proximity to Logan and all the caves was good. The main living space isn’t super huge, but big enough to be enjoyable and comfortable!

Comfortable Getaway

Dogwood was perfect for our family of 6 adults, 2 children plus dogs. There was plenty of room, 3 bathrooms, and all the amenities we needed. The only thing missing was a hose to refill the hot tub, but that's not a big deal. The host was very responsive and helpful. We will certainly consider returning to this property.

Great place for family gathering

Allowed us to bring our two pets with us. We loved the fire place. We brought lots of good dry fire wood and burned it every day all day long. It drafted very good for a open fire place no smoke in cabin. Grandchildren loved the arcade game. Would come back.

I waited to late in life for this vacation.

It was fun to have a family gathering. The cabin was just right, the hiking, well plan ahead, takes some pacing. returning to hot tub was a big help on leg recovery. We over packed and then forgot a few things to take, recovered at Walmart. I wish we would have done this years ago, but will return. thanks.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was incredible! It was handicap accessible so, my parents were able to join us on the trip. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub, made a fire in the fireplace and had a movie night with the dvds provides. The kids loved the games and bunkbed in the basement. We enjoyed sitting on the porch swing and watching the wide variety of birds in the area. The only downside was that my father who uses a walker was unable to take walks with us because of the gravel roads.

Excellent property and location

We’re an extended family of 10 with 2 dogs. Had a wonderful time New Year’s weekend. The house was super clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for all of us to be hanging out on the main floor. Cooking, playing games, puzzles, reading & watching TV. Great location - close to all the good hiking trails and coffee shop at end of road. Small note: main floor bathroom door sticks - several of us kept getting stuck inside and couldn’t get out without someone opening the door from the outside.

I figure after paying as much money as we did. The place would’ve been way cleaner there was stuff stuck in the shower nothing was dusted. Ceiling fans were disgusting.

Nice lodge for wheelchair disability

Had group of 10. One person wheelchair disability. It was nice to find this lodge with ramp. Just beware the ramp was somewhat steep. Very nice fire pit was close to cabin and not downhill. We felt kitchen lacked pots for large group cooking. Very nice lodge and location . would book again!

Dogwood cabin at the Chalets Hocking Hills

Nice cabin had everything we needed. Close to shops and restaurants and Hiking trails. The only complaint the cabin had a bad odor to it expecially in the basement . It smelled of sewer and sweat.

This house was great for two families of 5. There were plenty of places to sleep and play.

The kids had a blast with the video game and fooseball table. The hot tub was a hit for everyone, the pool too. Great place to relax after hiking all day.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed a short extended family vacation in this cabin and there were 11 of us and our dog! We all enjoyed the cabin with plenty to do for our kids age 4-11. Lots to do very close to the cabin.

Family cabin stay

Fantastic cabin for family reunion stay. The 12 of us had ample room to stay and play, cook and fire pit together. It was also a great location to head into town for groceries, or to the coffee shop and Hocking Hills beyond. Don’t forget to enjoy the Chalets’ pool, very refreshing after a hike at Old Man’s Cave.
