"Excellent for family stay. Very child friendly"

"Excellent stay, really comfortable room with helpful staff. Restaurant was a gastronomic experience and I lived it."

"Excellent place to stay with a family, our 3,6 and 11 year olds loved the outdoor spaces, the gardens and play areas are fantastic and the lounge areas are also great for families. The room was a good size and the dining room had great food at decent prices, esp as kids eat for £1! You can walk directly from the hostel to many different paths into countryside or dovedale. Our family loved this place, I highly recommend it."

"Staff very welcoming and friendly made to feel welcome ,The only thing is a little music in the restaurant at breakfast would be good very quiet ,I would definitely stay again and would recommend it."

"Clean room, friendly staff. Good breakfast."

"Comfortable room, friendly staff. Had pleasant meal one night, and enjoyed cooked breakfast. Spent few hours in pub lounge, great atmosphere. Small point, we were in room 9 which was noisy at night due to extractor fan out side. Other than that we enjoyed our stay."
