“Overall my room was nice. However at check in I was asked to provide a card for pre-authorisation. I’ve been asked many times before but on this occasion $300 was taken from my account immediately. On checking out I was told this will take between 5-10 days to be returned to me. On a holiday budget this wasn’t ideal. Also breakfast each day was always the same. No one made any special effort to offer tea or coffee or to make anything different at all. Positives were that the room was spacious,……

“a bit expensive for this location and services”

“Overall, the facilities are old and the tidiness are fair. Many tiny insects inside the room. And the hot water system is fair”

“Great view of Scarborough beach and decent swimming pool . Service are great ”

“Room was so spacious & comfortable with everything you need. Location was good with walking distance to beach & supermarket. The only complain was no air conditioning in guest rooms & it was very hot while sleeping ”

“The staff are very friendly and helpful, but the cleanliness of the room rugs could be improved”

“Excellent hotel. I will bring my families and accommodate here again. Thank you, Quest Scarborough.”

“Good.”

“Thinnest walls, could hear next door into the early hours.. not cheap, but very basic”

“Good choice for an overnight after a long flight. Staff were friendly”

“Everything is great at this hotel, even the food at their restaurant was very good. Would love to use their pool next time. The only thing is, it still smells very new, it would be good if there’s a window for us to open to let it ventilate, because I was worried that the smell will affect my toddler ”
