“We had a wonderful stay at Heritage Village for my birthday. Every single staff member was excellent- friendly, courteous and helpful. I can't remember all of their names but do remember Ganesh and Abigail on reception along with Naira and Balakrishna at Chutney. We spoke to the lovely female head chef at Chutney to thank her for the wonderful breakfast buffets - again her name eludes me but she was so sweet and does an excellent job. “We stayed two weeks and it was the absolute perfect combo of relaxed bohemian vibe and atmosphere but with fantastic service, very clean and some of the friendliest staff I have met. Had a five- year old with me who thrived. There is a little play area and the pool was perfect for her when the waves were sometimes a bit too rough and she was met with such kindness everywhere. Yet neither pool or play area overtook the very Goa- feel of the place. It was just cleverly placed. Took a Thai massage……

My only small criticisms is that there is no evening entertainment at the hotel and everyone disappears after dinner. There are now few western tourists staying at the hotel and so the food (very spicy!) and limited activities are aimed at the domestic market. ”
