“Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby. Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟”

“This is our 4th stay - so clearly it suits us. Friendly, comfortable and clean. Good food in pub. The mini bathroom, ( in room 2) however, needs a couple of simple improvements! The light over the mirror is still hanging loose - as per previous stays! The shower head is loose and you have to hold it with one hand to stop spray going directly downwards- which is nigh impossible! There needs to be a label on the power switch to the shower- currently it’s a search and a case of” I wonder if this……

“The property is tired. Some of the staff worked hard. Some were obviously inexperienced. But the big problem was there were not enough capable staff. Long waiting times for food. Ordering systems that failed. Simple things like getting your own coffee at breakfast did not work. Altogether a lack of energy and commitment to getting things right was missing. No obvious management. Fabulous views, great weather. Frustrating hotel. We stayed one night. Could not imagine staying longer. What a lost……
