Best hotel breakfast ever!

What a wonderful stay, this location is off the beaten path for foreigners but it is such a hidden gem. It had an onsen, free drinks within a time limit, restaurant on premise, a show by performers every night, a beautiful garden and yukatas to borrow. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. Also while they do offer a shuttle, and bikes to rent, please make sure to inform them so they can be ready to take you/accomodare you. Please also make sure that if you book, you order with breakfast...

Loved shrine next door, nearby National Park, and fishing out front.

I do wish it had a cold water bath, as well. The onsen was quite a long walk from the room, bur manageable. The staff spoke some simple english, but we're very helpful in Japanese...
