The rainforest is spectacular. Totally worth the effort to get there. We stayed 3 nights and had plenty to do. Words cannot describe it’s beauty.

If you're driving yourself and prefer not to take a bus tour, purchase ($15) the self drive audio tour available on flash drive from Tourist Information office.
Pretty day drive
It’s ancient, but I was honestly more impressed by the rainforest along the Great Ocean Rd near Melbourne. Maybe zip lining or doing the only long hike would have helped make this a more interesting visit.

Long stretches of golden sand, beautiful blue-green waters and a thick backdrop of dark green rainforest make this secluded area perfect for scenic views.

Before you explore the huge rainforest covering much of Queensland’s interior, get useful education, inspiration and invigoration at this center.

Experience a true rainforest with ease on this walking trail elevated above wet ground and below the natural awning of canopied trees.

Cape Tribulation is one of the most northern spots you can access in Queensland. The beach offers the peace and tranquility earned from the drive to get here.
