“While a car and GPS/directions are needed to get to Blervie House, once there you are central to a variety of activities. For us that meant distillery tours. We arrived and were greeted and made to feel welcome by Graham. As it turns out we timed our visit between other guests and had the house to ourselves. We found the grounds lovely for walking about. “The little cottages are very well thought out; just like a caravan, you really have everything you need. It's like camping, except everything is there and you only need a sleeping bag and towels (although you can get them from the owner for a small extra charge). What we liked best was the large tripod grill that each cottage has. For 5 pounds you can take firewood from a box and grill anything you've bought at the supermarket. “We stayed just one night, but wish we had time to stay longer. Check in was a breeze and the staff were lovely! They were super friendly and welcoming. We received a great recommendation for a dinner place from them. We also enjoyed the decor and the feel of the hotel. It is definitely unique and beautiful. Also, breakfast was FANTASTIC! “What a wonderful hotel - despite my stay being very short I was made to feel very welcomed and comfortable. Rooms here are very spacious and clean. Breakfast was very very good! I didn’t manage to go into the spa but this looked very pleasant. Hotel is quiet and peaceful and right next to the golf clubs and sea views ”

“Great situation for the shops just a 5/10 minute walk away. Parking at the hotel is good. Rooms spacious and comfortable and clean the only thing that is a let down is the bathroom it’s a bit outdated found the shower slippy and no where to put your shower gel and shampoo. Breakfast is very good with plenty of choice and full cooked breakfast is very good and hot. Didn’t have dinner was not keen on the menu but it might be good for others but not me.
