“We love this hotel. Quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is great. Staff are great. The room was big enough for 2 adult and 1 kid. Balcony view was the best. We would highly recommend anyone to stay for a great and relaxing trip.

“I think the breakfast could have had a much better coffee situation. Also the bacon they serve could be of a much higher quality. Everyone has a patio on the ground floor which goes out onto a communal space, which can be busy with little kids.”
“I stayed here for a week with my 9 year old daughter and it was an excellent base for exploring the local area. 5 minutes taxi to the local town (Galatas) and from there it’s a few minutes boat over to Poros island. Very friendly staff and owner, nice pool, good food and cocktails.”

“Awesome stay! Great little spot close to the beach, and not a far walk to town. Close to a supermarket and places to rent motorcycles! You do need an international license on Spetses. Breakfast was amazing!! The staff helped arrange taxi pickup getting to the port. We had a great room and view on the terrace balcony and enjoyed relaxing outside.”

However, as Gale force winds closed the port to all ferries we had to stay two additional nights. The hotel charged us MORE than our original booking price. We feel we were taken advantage of and very disappointed with the management in an unexpected situation. Not very happy with the management of this property”

“The location is great, and even though we booked a partial sea view, the view was actually really nice. The breakfast was more than enough. They serve a breakfast plate rather than a buffet, and it was surprisingly generous. Honestly, if it had been a buffet, I probably would have eaten less.
The staff working at the café were generally not very friendly. They did smile, although sometimes it felt a little forced. Still, they were helpful, so thank you for that.

“We had the absolute privilege of staying at Bellevalia Hydra, and it exceeded every expectation. The location is simply breathtaking, the rooms are beautifully designed, the views are spectacular, and the food is exceptional.
What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every member of staff went above and beyond to make our stay genuinely unforgettable.

“We arrived in Hydra at 9.30pm in an epic thunderstorm A kind person on the street helped us find the hotel in the wind and the rain and when we got there the manager had our room warmed up waiting for us. Staff were so kind and we loved our stay. Can,t recommend Achilleas enough and the whole island in general! Wonderful!”
