Surrounded by peace, quiet, and nature~welcome to Woodhaven!

  • Woodhaven is the perfect place to rest, relax, and rejuvenate while you plan for another day of mountain adventure. The open floor plan allows everyone to be in on the conversation and share the kitchen chores too. The large woodburning fireplace will surely create the perfect cabin atmosphere. Do some stargazing from the outdoor hot tub and then enjoy a night of peaceful slumber. Mornings might be tough. Should we hike up to the Sods? Should we fish at Spruce Island Lake after we make the short drive to Blackwater Falls? Downhill or cross country skiing? Lots of decisions because there is lots to do. Fortunately Woodhaven provides the perfect base camp for your busy gang! Four-wheel drive vehicles and in many cases tire chains are required for safe winter access.

Great family house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This secluded mountain house was just what we wanted for a family reunion long weekend. Kitchen is well-appointed, great room is large and open, and bedrooms sleep 10. It's not brand-new or fancy, but very comfortable. As always, the Best of Canaan staff were simply the BEST.
