“Beautiful place to stay with a gorgeous lakeside deck. It was fun having a billiards table to play. The host is very kind and friendly. She was next door and greeted us and made sure we didn’t need anything. The one thing to keep in mind since I’m not sure it was mentioned in the listing is that the bed is a foldaway bed and the room or suite is not an actual bedroom but a bride/dressing suite. It is located in the second floor of an event venue where they host weddings and other events. Overall...

“Spent a long weekend celebrating our 27th anniversary. The cabin was beautiful, clean & comfortable. We spent our first day in town shopping & the rest of the weekend on the river. Everything you could need is minutes away yet when you’re at the ranch you feel like you’re so far away you can actually relax & see the stars. I highly recommend it to anyone needing to decompress. ”

“Great place to stay and very accommodating owner. The attention to detail in the layout of this cabin is perfect. It is off to itself, which makes things VERY quiet! Just be sure to leave the outside light on if you are coming back after dark. We would definitely stay again and you should not hesitate to book this cabin.”

“What a wonderful place to disconnect with city life and enjoy the beauty of nature. The amenities were also a nice touch - fire pit, hot tub, outdoor grill, tons of outdoor seating and wi-fi (great for the teens in your life). A vast property to hike on and explore. The Brazos River was a relaxing excursion that you can hike to or drive to. They offer a lot of activities on the ranch if you want to be engaged that way, but we didn't do those. “This was really neat! We were right off of the town square. Surrounded by many historical sights within walking distance. A lot of restaurants in walking distance as well. Was within driving distance of everything to see in Glen Rose. We even ventured out to Dublin and Hico just to look around. ”

“My husband booked the sunflower cabin for our honeymoon. We loved it so much, we went back for our anniversary this year. It was just as great as we remembered it. The hot tub on the back porch is very nice and relaxing. The complimentary bottle of wine they leave in the refrigerator goes great with it, too. Lol. Huge shower, comfy bed, and it’s pet friendly so we got to bring our two border collies. It’s the perfect secluded getaway to unwind, unplug, and connect with each other. ”

“Check in was a breeze. The cabin was very nice, very clean and very well supplied. The grounds were very well maintained. We were there for a full week and the staff was out in the heat every day making sure that the property was kept looking nice. The cabin we stayed in was a short walk or ride to the river that was also very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cabin or a nice place to park their RV . The property managers were very helpful and friendly.”
