“Our one-night stay at Montana Hill Guest Ranch was truly memorable. It felt like stepping back into the '90s in the best possible way—surrounded by nature, with no distractions, just peace and simplicity. “I wished I looked into the reviews more before I booked this place. I had a disappointing stay, if you're looking for something basic, just off the road with a nice big bed then this is a good place for that . The staff were great, although not on site, they were friendly when dealing with them. The negatives were the shower was not clean, it had a bunch of hair in it, They were running on generator power and had no internet, no TV. “We arrived early and we're greeted by Christine the owner. The cabin was lovely, large and clean. A beautiful setting with fenced pastures and a lovely view. Two large bedroom upstairs. Main large bedroom could use a better mattress it was a little hard. Everything was so clean and lots of kitchen items to use as well as bathroom items. Breakfast was available but we ate at green lake with our family. I would highly recommend this place. It has WIFI as well.”

“We had a reservation for July 25th, We arrived after driving through unbelievable wildfire smoke and pouring rain and ash, prior to 5 pm. The lobby was dark and locked up tight. There was a number posted to call for help. I have a record of six calls made to that number. It was finally answered and the woman who answered said she had left work because of a headache from the smoke. She insisted had I called the number right away she would have come back, I told her I had called several……
