"Absolutely LOVED this cabin. We felt right at home. From the front porch rocking chairs with a Mountain View, to the back porch grill with mountains views, to cuddling up inside - it made for a relaxing stay!! We loved that there were already your basic kitchen essentials there (pots, pans, strainers, etc.). The shower was AMAZING and the bed was really comfy. We also loved that there were games in the closet too. We’re big card gamers, board gamers and regular gamers so that was a nice touch!! "

The views were beautiful, and we loved starting our mornings with coffee on the porch. The location was ideal, and the well-marked one-mile walking trail was a highlight — we even spotted a deer and plenty of birds to add to our birding app.Laurel was friendly, responsive, and went out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect. We can’t recommend this place highly enough and are already looking forward to our next visit."

She also checked on us to make sure everything was good and that we had no issues, which I think was very kind of her. We will definitely be staying there again."

"This is a very unique property and worth staying in for a few nights. If you appreciate historical architecture and charm, it's worth it. The sound of the waterfall while you sleep is absolutely hypnotizing - unbelievable! Of note however; the steep stairs to the second floor are not for people with mobility issues and the lack of a bathroom upstairs is a small inconvenience. "

"I was looking for quiet. I wanted to relax and read, undisturbed, and this place was better than I had hoped. The unit was clean very comfortable. It’s not a cabin (it’s not rustic at all) it’s a “tiny house” of clean contemporary decor and the amenities…just shrunk. The house is right next to the owner’s house, which was a little concerning when I first pulled up, but I never heard any one and only saw the owners on a couple occasions. The property is quite large, approximately 300 yds to the stream in the back which is where I spent every day. There was a hammock and camp chairs, a large tin roof covered area (with a bench swing) where i ducked under when some rain squalls moved through the area on a couple days. The sound of the stream and the birds was all I could hear with the pleasant exception of a few minutes of heavy rain in a metal roof. It was exactly what I wanted and I will certainly stay there again if I back in the area."
