“Very nice updated motel. Great location. Loved the kitchenette option! I’m giving 4 stars because of the bed. It was very, very firm. My husband and I slept poorly our entire stay. We ended up not staying our third night and going home due to the discomfort the bed was causing us. We are in our 40s with the usual aches and pains, we just couldn’t handle another night.”

“As others have said, this is an older camper and somewhat rustic. We chose not to drink the water so bought in gallons to drink. This is a no-frills stay. As someone suggested, we used mattresses from kids’ bunks to make bed more comfortable. Katrina was kind enough to lend me a hair dryer at my request. Lodging aside, the views were spectacular, the woods private, and the stay peaceful. Having coffee by the fire pit and watching eagles was the best. We were challenged to maneuver the boat and……

“The TV didnt work while we were there. Also the light switch in the bathroom was very loose and would not always go on with out extra help also the air conditioner was hard to work. Otherwise the place was clean and the employees were excellent.”

“The room was ok. Checked in at 9pm. Hotel worker was next door at the days inn working as well so had to wait 10 minutes for her to show up. Room was very sticky and humid. Says breakfast buffet included but definitely not a buffet. No hot food besides waffles. Coffee is horrible. Parking is very tight for a pickup. For $125/night you think it would be a little better.”

“I always try to stay at a Country Inn and Suites when one is available and if it is reasonably priced. I booked well in advance for my work trip because we knew the closer to the date the price was going to jump significantly. The hotel is older. The lobby seems to be in nice shape. Our room was fine. But the hallways were dark and the carpets were stained. The hot tub was dated and dirty. The pool was really neat. The hotel just needs a little spruce up. The staff was very nice and probably……

“Was close to restaurant, and animal hospital. Our little dog had surgery and we wanted to be close. Staff was amazing and very helpful.”

“The owner was very nice and helpful..it was a good place to stay for a couple nights..it was clean...the frigerator worked good..also the air conditioning..the bar/ restaurant next door had really good food..also a diner at the gas station next door has good food”
