“Nice quiet area by Detroit Lake. Property owner communicated well. Easy check in. Nice restaurants and pubs nearby the property. Starbucks coffee shop on property.”

“Overall the amenities and cleanliness was good.What was bad was that the two bed each had different mattresses and one was the kind you can flip and the other was not.Well the maids must have not known that and so I slept on a upside down bed and the room seemed damp and musty.”

“As others have said, this is an older camper and somewhat rustic. We chose not to drink the water so bought in gallons to drink. This is a no-frills stay. As someone suggested, we used mattresses from kids’ bunks to make bed more comfortable. Katrina was kind enough to lend me a hair dryer at my request. Lodging aside, the views were spectacular, the woods private, and the stay peaceful. Having coffee by the fire pit and watching eagles was the best. We were challenged to maneuver the boat and……

“The room was ok. Checked in at 9pm. Hotel worker was next door at the days inn working as well so had to wait 10 minutes for her to show up. Room was very sticky and humid. Says breakfast buffet included but definitely not a buffet. No hot food besides waffles. Coffee is horrible. Parking is very tight for a pickup. For $125/night you think it would be a little better.”

“Very nice motel. The staff was great. Cookies and popcorn available on arrival. Very nice breakfast. Applebee's right beside it. TV had a sleep timer!!!! No complaints. We were in a ADA room which was nice although we didn't require that room. If we had, the only complaint that I would have is the hooks in the bathroom were too high. Really nice motel.”
