Crystal Beach Cottage located in the prime area of Destin! A must rent.
BEACH 1.5 block Walk 1.5 block and be at the center of it all!! GORGEOUS BEACH, RESTAURANTS, SHOPPING, BARS, GROCERY STORES, BOWLING MOVIES, MALL, AVOID THE DESTIN TRAFFIC.

PRIVATE POOL-: The home has one of the BIGGEST and DEEPEST pool in the neighborhood 12.5 x 28 feet and approx 8 feet deep! The pool has a walking ledge that goes around the deep end, a nice feature. It also has 4 seats that are in the pool where you can sit and relax with a cold drink.The pool is private and is surrounded by palm trees. Heated pool option is available.

TV/PATIO- Large covered patio with plenty of seating, eating and BBQ. It’s just off the pool. It has a 55” TV outside. A great family gathering. You can enjoy plenty of shade in the afternoon and plenty of sun early in the morning for sun bathers

ACTIVITIES - Gorgeous Destin Commons Mall, Movies, fast food and fine dining restaurants, bank, bars, bike and jogging path, and office depot. Outlets, boat rentals, jet ski rentals, pontoon rentals are BLOCKS away.

LIFE GUARD- there is a life guard stand just off the entrance to the beach. Feel safe with the life guards who are at the beach from 9-6pm.

WRAP AROUND COVERED DECK- Hang out on the deck for that early morning shade, plenty of seating and a great place to drink your coffee or get out of the rain. 4 doors in the house leads you to the covered deck.
Golf cart is in working
Order and maintained. However in the event it has maintenance issue there is no reimbursement or replacement. Golf cart is an included in rental as a gift. Home is approximately 2300 square feet, open floor plan.

Spring Break 2025

The property manager went above and beyond to make sure our stay went great! The kids absolutely loved the pool and the location was perfect a short walk from the beach and a short drive to the popular attractions in Destin!

Great Place loved golf cart

Overall easy check in and loved house, was comfortable and very homey. Only complaint would be that there were some bugs in house but that happens every now and then.

We had a fantastic stay! My family of 5 met friends (another family of 5) we don’t see often and had a great time. The golf cart was perfect to get to the beach and the pool was great to cool off. Definitely would stay here again!

Great place to stay!

This was the perfect house for the 11 of us that spent the weekend. The covered porch was great for hanging out in the shade, the pool was very clean, and the front yard is perfect for cornhole. The 6 seater golf cart made transportation/parking at the beach a breeze. Comfortable beds and plenty of parking. Great place to stay!

Awesome host!

Super friendly host who replied promptly to our needs. The house was perfect for our family group of 11 and still with plenty of space! The pool was the highlight of the trip- our kids spent hours in the pool day and night! Would stay here again!

This house was amazing for our group of 12, plenty of room, very clean, pool and outdoor living area was where we spent most of our time! Located close enough to walk to the beach with ease! Close to all the restaurants and fun Destin has to offer! We were very sad to leave!

Fantastic Stay!

The property is excellent! My friends and I (12 total) fit comfortably in the house. It is only a short walk from the beach, and the pool was a great hangout spot when we weren't in the mood for the beach. The owners are super nice as well. Highly recommend!

Nice place to stay

This was in a nice location to everything in Destin. The pool was great, the outdoor sitting area (you can see the street so not private) but my family loved it out there. The kids loved the basketball hoop as well. The inside was nice nothing fancy but homey. Lydia was a good host I would recommend this property.

Walk to the beach!

The house was exactly what we needed! We wanted a few days at the beach with 2 moms and 8 boys. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep, the living room couch was so comfortable and lent itself to gather everyone together to play games. The kitchen was easy to use and had plenty of pots, pans, glasses, silverware to feed the hungry boys. The pool with the turf around it was perfect and outside area had flexible seating and lots of space to unwind and enjoy after the beach. Lydia and Murray were excellent hosts!

Fall break getaway

We've been coming to Destin for about 10 years for fall break with the grandkids. This house was perfect for our group of 7 this year. We had an amazing vacation!

This place was perfect for our family. We had plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. My husband and I, our 3 grown children and their spouses and children and my 87yr old Mom. House is perfectly furnished, was clean and a great location. Pictures do not do it justice. Owners very friendly and helpful!

Great house, great location, great host.

The house was directly as listed, was perfect for 4 couples. Lydia was amazing accommodated us getting in early on Friday since our flights got there so early. She came back showed us how to work a few things and was very responsive. Would love to see a ceiling fan outside on the patio but other than that everything was great.

Great family house

We loved the house, outdoor area and pool. We would definitely stay here again. The host were courteous and prompt for any issues that we had. The beach area was not great. To many private areas and not enough public access. We were disappointed with the beach. The house had a great pool that we thoroughly enjoyed. 😊🌴

Destin home away from home!

My family and I enjoyed Lydia’s place so much! It literally felt like we were home. The pool was great and the perfect size for my family. The kids stayed in it daily during our stay lol it’s great to know that this home was their family home where they raised their 3 sons. There was more than enough space for us and bathrooms and super close to the beach access. It’s walking distance but the golf cart was a great addition. Lydia was helpful in making sure we felt welcomed and knew the ins and outs of Destin. Communication was top tier. Any questions we had were answered/addressed promptly. We would love to come back maybe during the summer! Thanks again

Last minute getaway

This was very last minute after cancelling my birthday trip to Jamaica. I was shocked to find such a beautiful property so close to the 4th. House was very clean and the amenities were great. Especially the pool. We didn’t need to buy anything. Property is right around the corner from everything. Lydia was very responsive and accommodating. I’m hoping we make this an annual trip moving forward - and will definitely stay more than two nights in the future.

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for what we needed. We were happy to have the golf cart to take to the beach and cruise around the neighborhood. We loved cooling off in the pool late afternoon. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the patio with a glass of wine. The location of the house is perfect too! Since you are closer to town, less time sitting in traffic when going out to dinner or exploring the town for activities. The owners were great and attentive. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and utensils. The upstairs was warmer than we prefer when we sleep so we did turn it down at night. We were with 2 of our grown kids(40&32) and 1 teenager(16). I loved the king mattress but the kids said their mattresses made them roll to the center all night. That was the only downside but over all we loved it and we would stay here again.

We had the best week in Destin staying with Lydia. She was always helpful and responsive whenever we reached out. Our flights got changed and she let us check in early so we didn’t have to lug everything around all day with our 11 month old in toe. The house was close to everything we needed/ wanted to do, we didn’t need to use a vehicle at all. A short golf cart ride to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. We will definitely be back and we couldn’t recommend this trip enough!

Great location with nice pool

We rent in Destin every year. We enjoy the location and proximity to the beach. This property is average based on what we normally see. It is a nice home, but the previous reviews set unrealistic expectations. We were expecting a little more based on the review we read prior to booking, but were not surprised with the reality. It has clearly been a rental for a very long time and needs a little tlc. The mattress in the owner's suite has two dips that are about 6" deep, with what feels like a mound in the middle (certainly seems like it was a nice mattress when it was newer). Your are basically stuck in one spot in the bed while sleeping. The outdoor cushioned furniture is torn. While the home is relatively clean, we found excess layers of dust in the downstair bath and light fixtures. Also, our kids feet would turn black when they walked bare foot.
