“Security Alert - The front desk gave a key to our room to a stranger without checking ID. If we didn’t have the door bolted they would have gained access. Management did not reply to our concerns or rectify the situation. Stay here at your own risk.”

“Other than the nice employees this facility was deplorable. The lobby has no heat or air. The ice machine, pool and hot tub are inop. Because the kitchen apparently was shut down the breakfast consists of juice, coffee and prepackaged pastries only. The room is almost adequate if looking for a bed and shower. We might give it a 1 out of 10 but The Days Inn of Kirksville is definitely on our list of places to never stay at again.”

“Room was clean but dated (dark paneling with former screw holes) bed sheet had a stain. Cable box was inoperative, desk person promptly exchanged it with the room next door. Older building, but it was only $68 for 1 adult, no pet”

“Sleeps many people with two full bathrooms. No doors on sleeping areas, but the upstairs room is pretty well separated from downstairs. Walk out basement worked for my dog who does not like stairs. Kitchen was great. We enjoyed nearby Thousand Hills State Park. Gravel roads to and from cabin are pretty narrow, and rough after a big rain. Very private. Could see no neighbors, just lots of lovely trees, especially from raised porch. Probably not a good choice for toddlers unless watched closely……

“Great little cottage in a quiet neighborhood. My wife and stayed 3 nights and it worked out perfectly for us. Small but had room for the grandkids to visit to play and enjoy a couple meals with us. Good value.”
