![Morro de Arica is a steep hill located in the Chilean city of Arica. Its height is 139 metres above sea level. It was the last bulwark of defence for the Peruvian troops who garrisoned the city during the War of the Pacific (1879–1883). Morro de Arica was assaulted and captured on June 7, 1880 by Chilean troops in the last part of the Tacna and Arica campaign. Morro de Arica rises steeply from the city and the sea, with a more gentle slope towards the east. A giant flag of Chile is flown on its summit. “O hotel é maravilhoso, quarto espaçoso e limpo e com excelente vista. Café da manhã bom, sem variedade. O grande problema é que o hotel recebe diversos eventos, casamentos etc. E os hóspedes são deixados de lado é impossível usar os serviços de piscina, restaurante e bar. Os atendentes não dão atenção e pedem paciência e se você vai para relaxar é quase impossível. Nos quatros dias que estive no hotel só aproveitei um sem eventos. ”

“El departamento estaba completamente sucio, ni las sábanas fueron cambiadas, cuando hice el reclamo rápidamente limpiaron y cambiaron las sábanas. En un cuarto nunca llegaba el agua caliente para bañarse, tuve que bañarme siempre con agua fría. A pesar que no está tan cerca de nada, había un minimarket y una farmacia cerca, sino el departamento es bonito y cuando ya estaba limpio nos sentímos bien. ”
