Absolutely Perfect!

I would absolutely recommend casa 1880 to anybody staying in La Paz. It was the perfect boutique hotel that had the best combination of a small and proper bed and breakfast and a very fancy luxury hotel. I absolutely loved the atmosphere, friendly staff, and the property felt empty even though it was almost fully booked. Shout out to the Marea restaurant staff. The pizza and tacos were amazing! Sushi was fresh and delicious. Mezcal has the best cornbread and smoke butter I have ever had! We only stayed here one night, was a last minute getaway. The place was exactly what we needed and wanted after a stressful week. We really liked the quiet time when they turn all the lights out and you can relax in the pool and enjoy the stars. We had a few well made alcoholic beverages and the food from the restaurant was delicious.

Wonderful experience, property is located in a convenient area. The owner was great ! Our flight was cancelled because bad weather due to the hurricane, and he made it very easy to extend our stay and let us know he was there to support us in anything we might need.

Staying here is definitely a hidden gem. From the moment we arrived we were told not to worry about checking in and to get a drink and relax. Rooms were ready and amazing. Amazingly beautiful interior design and landscaping! Great location

We stayed for 1 night, but felt very comfortable and safe. The room was clean, the AC was very cold, and the staff were excellent. The breakfast we delicious! We had transportation arriving later in the day, and the staff held our bags in the back which was greatly appreciated as we went to the beach for the day. The only thing I wish was a little different was if there were softer pillows provided, but I would not hesitate to stay again.

This place is located very remotely at the end of a barely driveable one-lane dirt road, one hour from the nearest city (La Paz). It is truly in the middle of nowhere. This was by far our favorite vacation yet. The resort's focus to detail to make everyone's stay amazing, was a huge success. Our room, the view, the pools, the food, and the service, couldn't have been any better. We ventured off the resort once, and immediatly regretted it. When we booked there was only 1 review, which made me leery. However it proved to be the nicest place we have stayed in and around Los Cabos. This was a our 6th trip to the area and this place was wonderful.

We loved the tranquility and quiet of the estancia, we love all the food and also our villa, it was excellent! Plus all the staff amazing. We’re planning to come back soon!

I didn't know I could ask for a sombrilla and chairs, that would be very helpful to know prior our arrival or at the blue carpet.
