“Our group had a wonderful stay at the Chalet! It's in such a peaceful neighborhood with lots of green space. We got cozy around the fireplace in the evenings and had great amenities. The soaps in the bathroom were all natural, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook and even had maid service every other day to help with washing the dishes and towels. Silvia was a great host, living right next door, she was available when we needed something and was very responsive and……

“I arrived at the location based on the Vrbo website for the property at around 5:00PM. I could not find the property at that location. I asked 2 people on the street and they were unaware of anything like it nearby. I attempted to call the number listed mulitple times but could never get through to Nidia. I finally gave up and found another location to stay at for the night. I did get a reply back from Nidia almost two hours later but by then it was to late. Property looked nice by the photos……

“Only 30 min from the airport, up in the coffee covered hills above the very vibrant Alajuela neighborhood, is the best, not too expensive hotel in San Jose. Wonderful staff, beautiful grounds and gardens, nice food and a very relaxing setting. We really enjoy spending our last night, after puddle jumping and before getting on that big old jet liner, just decompressing in affordable luxury. Go there, you'll be glad you did.”
