“Perfect location perfect staff”

“The room was clean but sparsely furnished. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a short walk to the beach. The beach in general has been infringed on by hotels til there is not much, and in some places no sand between the hotel and water. The pool was clean and near the bar and restaurant (both closed during our stay)”

“Overall, my stay was okay, especially for a short weekend trip, but there are definitely some areas that need improvement. I originally booked a King Loft but was first placed in a room with two beds. The staff did correct the issue and moved me to the room type I booked, which I appreciated. My biggest concern was the cleanliness of the room. The toilet seat had a yellow stain that I had to clean myself. After seeing that, I started wiping down other surfaces in the room. “We came to Cayman first week of October, (their quietest month of the year) - very grateful for an upgraded room on arrival. One of the newest hotels on the island on the West Bay / Seven Mile Beach, built in 2024 so everything is in pristine condition. Very modern rooms, great gym!! and pool, golf cart service down to the beach with 4 restaurants and a cafe on site to choose from, all very fresh and delicious! Would recommend an ocean view room (it’s a few levels higher than the pool view room,……

“The hotel was beautiful and very well kept. We had the ocean view room and it was very nice. We went during September so the spa was closed, but everything else was great. Library at sea is a must do!”

“The Sunshine Hotel and Suites was good with great new room (renovated). Overall very good 4+ star. Negative: Be very careful on overcharges in Westin bars(your beach place). They will charge your drinks and other people drinks and food to your room. Ideally don't put bill on your room(don't ever share your room #) but rather pay with credit card or even better cash. Sunshine reimbursed some suspicious charges but not all, there were some fake signatures and several bills with no signature so pay……

“My family of 4 stayed at OneGT for a week in grand cayman island in a standard room. We really enjoyed the hotel and its available pools and amenities. The hotel is only 5months old so everything is spotlessly clean and the room has high end, clean appliances allocated for our use. There was a fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher and full oven with all amenities of a home kitchen. There’s also a high end coffee maker with complimentary coffee/tea/milk which was throughly enjoyed……

“I loved how close to the pool our unit was. I purposely booked a ground floor so we wouldn't have to drag luggage up steps because there is no elevator. Not a wide beach but I like that. Easy to get to the water and it was usually so calm. The condo was perfect for our needs. We mostly ate at the condo. We grilled out one night and cooked breakfast in the mornings. It was Labor Day weekend, low season, and there was hardly anyone there! We plan to return to this condo for a longer vacation……

“Loved the proximity to beach, gardens, large rooms, free parking, fresh towels and excellent housekeeping services. Suggest better mattresses for king size beds and twin beds should be more easy to separate out. Also, renovations on property, and roosters, were a bit noisy some days. Also suggest bbq be included in price, as photos showed a gas one, but they had none. Need to bring own coffee/tea, condiments and seasonings for kitchen.”
