“The Manor House is a beautiful place to stay. The people and service are kind, considerate, courteous and, very helpful The dinner is very expensive because they do not serve only a few of the items on the menu. If you order 2 items from the different classes on the menu They charge for the complete dinner. We were very tired when we arrived and only ordered 4 items from the complete dinner, 1 appetizer 2 bowls of soup and one sweet potato cost over 90 GBP. We were not informed how the……

On the first day there was a constant motor noise which we were told came from the kitchen and would end when service was over. Our room safe would not reset so we had to be provided with the access key. The shower was unusable as the temperature varied from too hot to scalding and despite hanging a clean me sign on the door the room was not serviced. “First visit and will definitely return. Staff are really friendly, room was spacious and spotless. Proximity to all amenities was perfect. Food was excellent and portions were great. “It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!”
