“They said elevator not working and had to carry suitcases up and down to second floor (which is really 3rd) with no help available, but saw staff using elevator. Had to bring wet towels down when checking out or would be charged a fee. Food in restaurant buffet was horrible. Huge pieces of fat in soup, unidentifiable mystery food and not even butter for bread. Dinner and lunch were both inedible and Hungarian food is usually delicious. Furniture in room was in very poor condition and they did……

“Das Haus liegt in einer kleinen Siedlung am Waldrand. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und wunderschön. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern und Mountainbike/Fahrradfahren. Wer gern in der Natur unterwegs ist, ist hier genau richtig. Man kann aber auch gut einkaufen (shoppen) gehen. In der Nähe gibt es viele schöne Ausflugsziele. Budapest ist mit dem Auto oder mit der Bahn gut erreichbar ( ca. 45min). Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Der Service, der Hausbesitzer……

“This home was well appointed for the 5 of us with all we needed for a 5-night stay. We were able to cook, do laundry and just relax here. The host and neighbors were very welcoming and after a few long day trips, it was great to come home to this beautiful place to rest and relax in the peace and quiet of the country setting. Tatabanya was a great location for exploring Hungary. It is close enough to make day trips to Budapest, Lake Balaton, Estergom and even Bratislava and Vienna if you're up……
