“The hotel was located right across the street from the station so it was very convenient as we traveled in and out of Rouen by train. The staff was very helpful and showed us how to get to the main attractions. We were upgraded to a larger room and it was great. There was a kettle and free tea bags and instant coffee were provided. Will definitely stay there again next time. ”

“What a wonderful place to stay! I can't begin to express how welcoming and friendly he and his family were. They went above and beyond in every aspect to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The history of the chateau is incredible and he's very knowledgeable about it and the region. The dinners and breakfasts are delicious home-made meals prepared with care. If you need help with lining up transportation to and from the chateau, be sure to be in contact with him well in advance. He helped us……

“We arrived at 8pm, having called in advance to advise of our arrival time. We had booked a table in the restaurant at 8.30pm (the final sitting according to the website). We were disappointed to hear the restaurant was shut when we arrived. We were offered no refreshments (our booking stated a welcome drink)- the village was very quiet with only a burger place open so we had very little choice to get something to eat. Would not return.”
