“Unfortunately this property was very poorly advertised. Warning to others, the pictures on the website do not represent what the "resort" looks like or provides to it's customers. The property is poorly maintained and if you have a balcony the light outside doesn't work. The top banister was hardly attached. The wood was rotting and the screws were barely holding it in place. DO NOT LET CHILDREN OUT ON THE BALCONY. 4 days before we were to leave on vacation we were emailed an update stating the...

“We stayed in the "dome" and it was spectacular. Fully equipped with top of the line amenities, and extras we didn't expect. Very relaxing location, great to sit by the pool on a hot day - and yes you can see the lake through the trees in the distance... S”

“We were unfamiliar with the Haliburton Post House and booked two nights , mid week, on a whim to get out of town. The room was beautiful, the food and wine selection was great. We took advantage of their waterfront and toys on what may have been the hottest day of the year. Thanks to the staff who made us feel welcome and were the highlight of our stay.”
