“This is a very boutique type of property but with a very casual woodsy vibe. I say boutique as there are only a few cabins and I believe 3 main lodge rooms. It should be noted that unless you book time in the restaurant there are no other facilities for food on site. This obviously is not an issue if you are in a cabin but the main……
“Our room was pretty basic. No balcony, no view. We were disappointed because the pictures were misleading. The air conditioner was noisy and we couldn't turn it down, so we just turned it off. “very steep stairs leading to rooms. Property is showing signs of wear and tear. We received emails regarding questions of access and connection to after-hours staff after we left!!! The room was clean and well stocked but showed its age. there is a much better option 10 minutes up the road for almost half the price. There are no extra amenities to speak of . Basically, there are only 2 options within the village and thus, this one is overpriced. Stay in Haliburton or Bracebridge instead.”
