“Beautifuly decorated and comfy beds. Directly on the lake and friendly staff. Bring a gas cooker or one use bbq type thing for your meals or there are Restaurants or I saw a family with take away pizza. A little fridge, cutlery, plates and bowls supplied. Soft, fluffy towels, washing up things too. Supermarket 5 mins away. One needs to be used to being self-sufficient and down to earth. Fresh water tap around the corner, showers and toilets shared and regularly cleaned. Beautiful and peaceful.……

“We were very happy with our stay. The room is cosy, spotless and very functional. The room and check-in worked well, the staff were accommodating and friendly. On-sight parking is available and we were able to park across from our room. We visited family so didn't get the chance to use the restaurant but it looked good. “Our stay was great, fell in love with the town of Abcoude ( short drive or train to Amsterdam ) apartment was fine but description of rooms and bathrooms doesn’t match. It has two bedrooms ( not 3 as it is stated) and 1 toilet, two showers and 1 bathtub. It is described as two toilets and two showers. Great location in the middle of town with restaurants and supermarket close by. Fairly clean , just a few cowwebs in corners and under beds. Extremely steep staircase . Overall, a great place ”
