"It's outrageous that Aloegrove has a rating less than 5 stars!
If you are driving to Etosha or back from Etosha, stop at Aloegrove, and stay two nights. Aloegrove is a decent drive off the B1, but it is more than worth it. Johan and Ivy have build a marvellous lodge with Comanding views over the surrounding countryside.
The luxury suites overlook the Waterberg plateau, and have an unobstructed view from the hilltop that Alloegrove occupies. The rooms have views of the plateau from the bathroom...

"I stayed here for one night on my way to WVB airport.
It's a nice, place. Right on the beach. Rooms were very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The restaurant was very good with a heavy emphasis in seafood.
Mine was a brief stay but I was very happy. Good value for money and I would happily recommend it. "
