Lovely stay in an even lovelier setting. Conveniently located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We arrived not knowing that this little village was used as the setting of the current “All Creatures Great and Small” television series but we can see why the producers selected the location. As for the B&B, the room had the most comfortable bed we had ever experienced, a modern bathroom, and two of the friendliest hosts you will ever meet. My wife always had their full Yorkshire...

Fantastic place. Strongly recommend. Food was great. Service a bit slow, but it was a busy time and limited staff. Accommodations were lovely and one of the very best w stayed in on our Coast to Coast hike.

10/10 for overall quality, attention to detail, comfort, attentiveness, full English breakfast and more. One tiny niggle - I suspect that the owner's suite was above my room and footsteps above were clearly audible (early and late only). I would strongly recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

Lovely property!

Margaret and Paula have created a beautiful, welcoming and warm home away from home. I felt so special. When I arrived and there was a freshly baked butterfly cake in my room and the second day a slice of fresh chocolate cake. The views and the property are stunning. I would describe it as a home way from home, but it’s better

Only thing wrong was we didn’t stay long enough. We loved this little cottage. It’s a beautiful little home away from home. Whitby was fantastic as well. Wish we’d known ahead of time how much we would love it so we could have booked a longer stay.

We just stayed four nights at this hotel. We enjoyed the location of the property—not to far from Leyburn, Hawes, or Grassington. Good location for short and long walks or hikes. You can walk to the falls from the hotel, and there are footpaths if you want to walk to all three falls. That was fun. Just a quick drive to visit Bolton Castle—worth the visit. We enjoyed the breakfasts—nice selection of pastries, cereals and fruit. And, the selection of hot items on the breakfast menu was...

A gem in the Yorkshire Dales, good hiking opportunities right nearby and a great breakfast. Everyone was very nice
