"staff were excellent , could not be more helpful . Room was so spacious and kept to a high standard ate in restaurant both nights of our stay , viewing other places to eat we found the hotel restaurant much better both decor service and food,many thanks to all the staff , so central. If i had to pick a fault i would have to make it up (which i won’t) The parking was first rate , we got parked no bother however beware it’s first come first servered. Many thanks to all the staff. "We stayed for one night to attend a concert nearby. I'd booked a while ago and was a little dubious reading some of the recent reviews. The hotel has a great location and is as you'd expect a Victorian seaside hotel to be, a little dated but that's part of the charm. The hotel boasts commanding views over the bay and close to the castle. We had 2 rooms booked, both were spacious, clean and seemed to have new furniture. The staff were lovely. There's minimal parking, but we managed to park nearby. Overall the hotel was ideal."
