Our trip to Inari was a trip of a lifetime. The Mobile Cabins on Lake Inari felt like a home away from home. Atte and Alexa were incredible hosts and it was the best experience I’ve had traveling aboard. Lapland is a place I will definitely return to!

Stayed three nights in "Aurora" cabin with glass roof. It was good for sleeping and evidently cool if there happens to be aurora in the sky. They have also log cabins and hotel rooms. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the interior made with taste. Positive surprise was free sauna time each day, but small minus was some smell in the dre#in room. The sauna cabin has also glass roof and direct access to the lake.

Stayed for one night and was seriously impressed. The villa was spotless, stylish, and really comfortable. The breakfast basket in the morning was a great touch — fresh, local, and way better than expected. The whole place has a calm, relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views by the river. Even though it was a short stay, it felt special.

We had a great stay at Snowhotel Kirkenes. We were well received despite being the only guests in the snow hotel. It was clean, plenty of things to do for a family and the service level was great. We especially recommend the King Crab Fishing activity which was very memorable. They also have reindeers and husky dogs on site and offer many different activities in the area.

The entire property is unique; from its cabins with heated glass ceilings to view the Auroras to providing all the heavy outer wear you will need to stay warm. Breakfast and dinner provided plus there are multiple excursions to choose from. I highly recommend Wellu as your guide on your excursions. He’s friendly knowledgeable, patient and caring. You will get beautiful pics and experience all wrapped in one.

Check-in was easy, but if you do the holiday club apartments, it is a bit of a walk to the apartments (5-10 minutes) depending on how much luggage you are lugging in the snow.

This was an awesome resort with lots of activities to choose from. We enjoyed the husky sled ride, meet the reindeer, and the Aurora camp. We could see the lights from our bubble room. Absolutely perfect time. Make sure upon arrival though that your get briefed, fitted for a snow jumpsuit and boots, and check board at reception for activity times for the following day.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this delightful inn on the lovely River Teno in the northernmost town in Finland. Our cabin was perfect—comfortable and beautifully appointed. On top of all that, in a place without open car repair shops, we got a flat tire. This could have been a significant problem, setting our trip back by at least half a day if we had depended on our rental car company. The kind and very accomplished owner helped us immediately by repairing it in his shop. Such...

Beautiful river view. Great wifi, ample free parking. Nice river trail to pedestrian suspension bridge over river rapids.
