"This was one of the strangest hotel stays I have had. The hotel and views are beautiful. Apparently the owner is a micro-manager and forces the staff to be very pushy. We were constantly asked what our plans were for the day, apparently so the boss could get a cut of any money we spent. The food menu appeared to be prix fixe, but when the bill came, there were additional charges. Some of the food was good, but the price was out of line with local restaurants and resorts. "This was a very disappointing rental. Although the villa was very nice and we expected to enjoy our stay. However, the yard surrounding the villa was infested with ticks. Each of us had ticks on our feet, legs and clothing. We have a small dog who must have had several dozens ticks just by walking for a few minutes in the surrounding yard in the immediate viscinity of the villa. We didn't even need to go in the tall grass and we came back with ticks. It took us several hours over the next week...
