“I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience and, in particular, the way my family and I were treated by the hotel management Nekeisha who is rude, dismissive, unprofessional and lacks empathy. I traveled to Trinidad and Tobago with my family because we were there to attend a funeral. This was already an extremely difficult and emotional time for us. After returning to the hotel on Friday , August 28, we were shocked to discover that our belongings had been packed up and removed from……

“Best place for the price”

“This place is where people pay nightly to come with women or men. It’s a motel. They have a $300 TT pass for the day and the building was terrible the facility the whole surround in everything is terrible is degrading. I believe that Expedia shall not entertain the Alecia‘s palace anymore. It’s false advertisement. It’s not up to the standard at least for me. I like standard like where I’m staying in book reef right now where I’m gonna stay in the Hyatt K-pop hotel that kind of standard it’s not……

“If your looking for a family stay on a budget, with breakfast, then this is the place for you. Don't have any high expectations. The pools are the best thing about the location and the keep it well maintained. Great location in the city. The building and the rooms were a bit old fashioned and can do with some TLC. The eating area can do with some table cloths and some love as well. The staff was polite and helpful. They offered us a better room. Good WiFi.”

“The property was beautiful. The room was comfortable and met every need. Enjoyed the pool and the quiet. The neighborhood did not seem safe, and there were no restaurants in close proximity, so a car is needed. Recommend for those not wanting to stay in Port of Spain. Host and staff were gracious and helpful. ”
