"Beautiful property, spectacular room, and amazing views! The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. The only suggestion we have is to improve the interior entrance area of the property to make it more inviting and attractive, perhaps by adding more plants and flowers and removal of old furniture right at the entrance. A nice bench near the entrance would also be a great addition for guests waiting for transportation. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and had a wonderful experience!"

"Very beautiful property, but the town is a little strange. The staff was lovely, food was great. We stayed in 2 different rooms. The first room was not my favorite because it’s a hut with walls. There were opening in the top which made it easy for bugs to get in. The second room was fully closed off . Beware there are a lot of bugs n the rooms that were partially open at the top. Also dogs bark in this town a lot."

"Good place to stay, close to things, staff super nice and accommodating. The only thing we had troubles with was the noise outside. We could hear the entire street at night and hard to sleep. Breakfast was great!"

"Beautiful hotel right on the Lake Atitlan, amazing views, staff were great, and the food at their restaurant was fantastic! My girlfriend also did a four-hour spa treatment that she described as "life changing." Highly recommend this place."

"Beautiful gardens! The restaurant was delicious and the free breakfast was amazing! A safe and beautiful spot to stay! The staff was very helpful and friendly. One worker helped pump up our tire with his air compressor in the morning."

"All we can say is wow! Could not have picked a more amazing spot to stay while visiting Lake Atitlan. After staying at La Iguana and stopping at other towns on the lake, the only place I would come back to is Santa Cruz and to stay at La Iguana. Felt like a gem and a private oasis. Food and hospitality were unmatched, and the views from our room were hard to beat. We will absolutely be back!"
