“Great modern, clean and spacious room. Fantastic staff and helpful check in on arrival. Ample parking and as the weather was very hot the ceiling fan was perfect. Breakfast and dinner was great and good amount of choices.”

“Room was tired and poorly finished. Poorly painted on every surface (on mirrors etc). Desperately needed redecorating. Loo seat moved, taps were so close to the sink you could barely just your hands under it. Shower was so hard to turn on and plastic trim snapped off. Heavily stained carpet, one bedside table. Bathroom was grimy and stained including shower curtain. Everything very old. Free breakfast was chaotic and choice was just ok. One good thing, bed was amazing. Very good bedding and……

“Very helpful staff ; clean and functional room; spa facility very good - used pool and jacuzzi ( steam rooms out of service) ; restaurant and bar relaxing inside and out ; good selection; of food and rwfreshments ; food was very good . Easy access . Good base for exploring Suffolk Heritage coastline , Framlingham just 10 miles away Marvellous stay . Will be back . Thank you”

“During our stay there was a wedding party and the hotel was fully booked. There appeared to be staff shortages/new staff! This meant things took a little longer or needed a bit of extra staff training/help. Unfortunately there was also a wine shortage after several very busy events over the last 2 weeks! However we are patient people and ALL available staff were hardworking and friendly. Special mention to Ceran, Reese, Kyle, and sorry forgot name of the welding apprentice in the bar team. ……

“rooms were clean and serviced daily with tea,coffee ect replenished, Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice but the menu for dinner [available from 12.30-8.30] a bit limited with no specials offered.”

“The staff where very attentive, helpful, and nothing with a problem, My partner and I stayed one night for our two year anniversary, and we where giving an upgrade room, with Rose petals in the roon with a card wishing us happy anniversary. The hotel is beautiful and Is surrounded by beautiful gardens. I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel especially for a special romantic break”

“I think a lot of people has reviewed on this. But I can only said air conditioning system issue need to be fix. Otherwise it is hard for other customer wants to stay. It is summer time and the air conditioning system not work. All you got is a fan will only have little help. Can you imagine stay in the room with 27C? And there is not compensation. Charging almost 100 pound per night, and it is the sleep environment we got.”

“Reception staff excellent. Breakfast staff good but overstretched. Room 122 , tiny, dark, too hot but a fan provided. The worst we have stayed in Breakfast diabolical. All hot food had been cooked probably 2 hours before. Eggs hard and shrivelled. We have stayed so many times but doubt we will return. So sorry.”
