"Beautiful place"

"Our stay was okay. The waterfront is beautiful with no weeds and great for swimming. There are very few stairs leading to the water. The basement AC works very well and the bathroom downstairs is very up to date. The location is very quiet with minimal traffic. The location is amazing but there are many issues that come with it. There are roaches or "bluff bugs" and millipedes in the house. The upstairs had a very moist and musty smell to it almost as if it had flooded recently, the odor and...

"Unfortunately, the house was filthy when we checked in. The floors and bathrooms were dirty, as was the kitchen. We overcame this, as the house at the lake was spectacular with a refrigerator, bathroom ice maker and barbecue. We were able to spend long periods of time at the lake without climbing back to the main house. Additionally, there is no outdoor lighting on the deck at the main house so we were unable to have dinner outside. It would have been helpful to know that the barn was also a...
