"My family enjoyed our stay at The Carriage House! It was just the perfect size for our small family. I loved the character of the home as well as the farmhouse/rustic vibes. It took a little getting used to using the gas fireplace as the main source of heat, but I loved watching the fire. The stairs are steep so just keep that in mind if traveling with little ones! The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you need except with the things we really needed - salt, coffee cups ( only 2) can opener. I'm sure the owner will remedy. Also it would be helpful to have a book with instructions in the house. Other than that - great stay in a remote location but...
