"The gardens were beautiful and the shower with its big rainfall head and hand held option in grey stone large area was fabulous. The upgrade to a brand new room was also appreciated. The shared kitchen is very well equipped , clean with nice crockery and has a good vibe with it being a friendly hub involving people from all around the world and of all ages gathered to prepare a variety of cuisines. The restaurant on site is also a plus. The hot tub and sauna were also a bonus. Its location is...

"peaceful location. lovely villa. had sky tv. our villa had a washing line but no washing machine, which would have been handy. wifi not great so made booking next stage of our road trip hard. nice touch having hot tub for guests to use. hosts really easy to contact. would recommend but with caveats about washing machine and wifi."

"The west coast of NZ is extremely rural and poor. Typically that means marginal lodging. Marginal amenities. Cheap motels. We were so pleasantly surprised to find the Rumi lodge the exact opposite. Wonderful accommodations and food. What a wonderful breakfast. Literally five star. Cecelia, the host, was wonderful . Warm and inviting and so full of helpful info. Two thumbs way up for Rumi lodge. "
