"This hotel is tired and dated. Whilst the staff make every effort to be great hosts the whole venue lacks any wow factor. The walls are damaged and marked - rips out of wallpaper. There are no lifts so you can expect to carry your own luggage up the stairs. My bathroom was full of hair when I arrived, I asked for it to be cleaned. The manager sent the trainee from the restaurant up to clean with a microfibre cloth - at 10pm they arrived with a vacuum. Dinner was a shambles - ordered a Medium Rare steak - it was medium well, served with YELLOW broccoli and 'bubble n squeak' was mash with cabbage mixed through. To compensate for the state of my room I was offered breakfast complementary - declined. Beds are comfortable, showers need a deep clean to remove all the mold from the edges.
