Organize some transportation and head to Bodrum, a shopping and transport center for the region, some 25 miles (40 kilometers) away from Didim. The place has a wide range of tourist attractions, including Torba Beach, Golkoy Beach and Gundogan Beach. Bodrum Windmills, French Tower and Bodrum Castle are also well-worth checking out before heading back to Didim.
History lovers will enjoy Bodrum - Aegean Region's fabulous historic palaces, old towns and castles. If you're looking for indoor entertainment, you can't do better than Bodrum - Aegean Region's art museums. These are great spots to learn about the local culture and perhaps pick up an unusual gift or two.
Pack your equipment or rent some when you get here, and get out onto the water. Fishing is one great activity. Another good option is sailing. Don't leave the area without getting a bird's-eye view. There are a number of great places to try parachute jumping.
