The location of this motel was perfect for going to Big Bend National Park (on the west side, Maverick Junction entrance). It was clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The staff was friendly gave us a very helpful map of Terlingua. We highly recommend going into Terlingua Ghost Town. We liked the art gallery and trading post. Venga restaurant was excellent for coffee and breakfast (and has a lot of interesting art), and we recommend the Starlight Theatre Restaurant for dinner.

The whole set up was amazing! The communal areas were beautiful and made socializing and getting ideas from other guests easy. If you didn't feel like socializing there is plenty of space to be by yourself. Can't say enough good things
