“This place was beautiful. The stargazing was amazing. The beds were comfortable. The place is stocked. The owners/managers are very responsive and thoughtful. If/when we return to the area we will definitely stay here again. One of the best rentals we've stayed in.”

“The location was amazing! Awesome for star viewing. We were in cabin #8 so that spot was even better to sit and view. The only thing that happened was we had left to go to dinner, came back and someone had actually driven there truck and parked it right next to our window on the side and had already made a fire in the pit that was next to our porch. He offered to move over once we were there but he already had a fire going so we said it’s ok. For one there was no way to drive back there unless……

“This place is so perfect. Within walking distance to Starlight, but still secluded. Nothing between you and Big Bend other than a bueno vista. The space is a cozy mix of modern and rustic.Frankly, my wife was sick for 6 out of our 7 days, and we still had a great time because this was a great place to be stuck.”

“Clean trailer and very convenient for our adventures to Big Bend national park. They even provided firewood if you wanted to build a fire. Communications with Crystal were clear and quick.”

“We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Greasewood Grocery. The cabin is right off the main road headed to Terlingua. It’s is a rain water only non-potable water source, which was not a problem for us. We brought our own water for drinking. The shower has an instant-hot water heater., which worked great. The AC kept us cold. It does have WiFi, but we did not test it during our stay. The host is very friendly and check-in process was simple. Great place to use as a base camp while exploring the Big……

“Quiet. Peaceful. Wonderful open spaces and so many stars! Communication with host was great, check-in was easy. Main cantina has shared refrigerators and space to put your groceries as well as a small fridge and microwave in the room. Bring water as the tap is non-potable. Off grid living at its finest!!! Will be back!”

“Was only a dome with a speaker and dirty socks under the bed and a port-a-potty. There was no chairs or places to sit under the stairs or a fireplace I felt like I was roughing it. Way overpriced considering what is was. I would not stay again ”
