“Everything was just as advertised, very clean with everything we needed. Printed list for everything we needed. Including restaurant recommendation which was spot on.”

“The room was clean, supplied well and was perfect for gorgeous views of the sunset, stars and mountains. It had a nice fire pit but a burn ban prevented us from using it. We still used the chairs for the desert and mountain views at night. The shared kitchen was perfect for a quick breakfast. All in all, I wasn’t ready to leave when y was time to leave 10 bits! I would recommend to anyone headed to Big Bend. ”

“The location was amazing! Awesome for star viewing. We were in cabin #8 so that spot was even better to sit and view. The only thing that happened was we had left to go to dinner, came back and someone had actually driven there truck and parked it right next to our window on the side and had already made a fire in the pit that was next to our porch. He offered to move over once we were there but he already had a fire going so we said it’s ok. For one there was no way to drive back there unless……

“We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Greasewood Grocery. The cabin is right off the main road headed to Terlingua. It’s is a rain water only non-potable water source, which was not a problem for us. We brought our own water for drinking. The shower has an instant-hot water heater., which worked great. The AC kept us cold. It does have WiFi, but we did not test it during our stay. The host is very friendly and check-in process was simple. Great place to use as a base camp while exploring the Big……

“Everything was perfect from the word go! We had to reserve last minute because our first rental was a nightmare. This place was super nice! Clean, cool, quiet, comfortable, excellent host and excellent communication!! We would stay again and it would be our first choice next time!”

“Was only a dome with a speaker and dirty socks under the bed and a port-a-potty. There was no chairs or places to sit under the stairs or a fireplace I felt like I was roughing it. Way overpriced considering what is was. I would not stay again ”
