Dolphinaris is a dolphinarium with a number of locations in the Mexican Caribbean, including Cancún, Riviera Maya, Cozumel and Tulum. The parks feature seawater lagoons that blend in perfectly with the stunning Caribbean landscape and are the ideal destination for visitors wanting to get close to these mesmerizing creatures. Experience the gentleness of a dolphin as it kisses you on the cheek before it propels you through the waters on an unforgettable ride. Rides includes the “dorsal tow,” “foot push” and aqua scooter experiences, and there are also special encounters designed just for children.Dolphinaris combines the elements of conservation, research, education and play to ensure you come away with a profound understanding of these incredible marine mammals. Become a trainer for a day by joining one of the educational programs that focus on dolphin development, behavioral training and the principles of dolphin husbandry. Different admission prices allows flexibility for your visit. Choose from the full-day, half-day, VIP, observer/non-swimmers admissions, and the “trainer for a day” program. Make sure you book in advance to secure your place. The parks have video and photograph services ensuring you’ll be able to relive your memories at home. There are also on-site restaurants.The Tulum Dolphinaris is situated in the Gran Bahía Principe Riviera Maya Resort. In the Riviera Maya, it’s 15 minutes from Playa del Carmen and in Cozumel, it’s situated on the main avenue, just three minutes from the ferry. The staff was great! Elizabeth in the Oceana was a nice and helpful! I enjoyed having her as our waitress! Rooms were mildewy and all our clothes smelled musty when we got home. The resorts needs a ton of updates and refreshed! The spa was great!

I have mixed feelings about this trip... Pros: Wonderful experience for the cost. The Interaction Package was just perfect for our daughter and at the right price. The food and drinks included was also wonderful! Cons: The hidden fees -- particularly for the pictures that they take. They are so wonderful that you feel guilted into paying the RIDICULOUSLY high cost to get a copy of them. We also didn't like that the snorkeling wasn't all open -- you could only go during 20-minute time intervals. You could go as many times as you wanted, but you could only go during a scheduled time.
