“My friend and I stayed here on this gorgeous mountaintop gorgeous location for 4 nights. The owners, Lori & Bobby were fantastic hosts welcoming us as we arrived and made us feel at home. Once there we upgraded to the main house with the pool and ocean view. Well worth it! You must have 4 wheel drive! As you do for most places in Costa Rica. ;) Thank you for all your information and sharing all the beautiful birds and wildlife with us. ”

“I had a great stay at Ginger Room. The room was clean, with storage and some hangning space. Having access to a mini fridge was verry useful. There is a nice view of the ocean from the terrace, great sunset colours! I saw a variety of birds and animals. I echo the comments on the need for a 4X4 vehicle to reach the property. Lori was very attentive and responsive to any needs or questions, accommodating and just overall considerate. ”

“Yes, as I wrote in a personal review for the owner/manager, aside from her direct, hands-on style of running the place, Paraizo Azul's biggest draw (for me) is its superb, generous SWIMMING pool, which forms the center of a very open, communal lay-out ... shadowed generously by a wide view of river delta, in front of ocean, off in the distance.”

“This is a cute little property off the beaten path. Lots of tico places to eat in the area but you need a car. We don’t recommend the seafood place across the highway though. Breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade bread and condiments. The laminated note in the room about not getting sand in the beach towels was a little odd!”
