8/10 Very Good! (3,004 reviews)
Pros:
Overall the hotel and room was clean and well kept. Staff was attentive to anything we needed. Buffet was well prepared with many choices of food. Beachfront staff was helpful setting up chairs and umbrella. Workout room was nice! They have a full service cafe bar they serves lattes, coffee, and cappuccinos.
Cons:
It's impossible to make dinner reservations. We weren't able to eat at any of the restaurants. Fortunately the Buffet serves breakfast, lunch snacks, and dinner. The bed and bedding is uncomfortable. The pillows do not provide enough support, there was no comforter on the bed. The water takes some getting used to as it has a strong sulphur smell.
Side note:
This hotel has a laid back relaxed environment. They keep things reserved in a honorable manner that caters to people from all walks of life. There are certain areas in the hotel that require a specific dresscode. For instance guys must have a shirt on and the ladies need to have a cover up on their bottoms. You cant just come strolling in the lobby from the beach with your bikini on. I would also mention there could be more entertainment. Just seemed a little dry for the most part.
Things to be aware of:
Watch out for anyone trying to sell time shares down on the beach or excursions that take you away from the hotel. Book those inside. You can buy exotic pineapple drinks from the guys down in the stands on the beach for about $30 a pinapple. We rode the jet skis for $150 an hour.
